Nicolette Turns Five!!

I FINALLY broke my Nicolette Birthday Curse...and remembered to have my camera at the ready for all aspects of her birthday this year! Being in preschool DEFINITELY had it's advantages, as Nicolette got to have a VERY special birthday crown made JUST for her...and I just LOVE the picture of her in it...it's just so...Nicolette...

We (of course) went to the Lux for her birthday dinner. She wore her crown, and was so giddy about her birthday that her infectious mood inspired everybody, staff and patrons alike, to drop by our table and wish her a happy day.

This is her blowing out a candle on a Chocolate Collision that lasted about .2 seconds after it was placed on the table...

Nicolette had her mermaid-themed birthday party some days later at our new community pool, with a few little friends and some homemade cupcakes...

I love chocolate smiles...

Nicolette LOVED her gifts...she got a Littlest Pet Shop Panda, a Make-It-Yourself Jewelry Box, A gift card to Target, a Pop-Up Tent that looks like a tree, Pretty-Pretty Princess Game, and a whole bunch of dress-up clothes along with some Fancy Nancy books. In addition, Yaya and Papa sent $15 and Aunt Tara sent lip gloss and stickers!!

Nicolette feels like she's a QUEEN!!!
